Program Model
IMP’s innovative approach joins a group of up to ten university-based volunteers and a high school student to create an IMP Family that forms the inner-most circle and supports the student for 3 years of high school and 4 years of college or an equivalent experience. This IMP Family is a powerful alternative to fill the void left by a deficient support structure, while creating unity among all the Family’s members. This process is the nexus for the formation of genuine relationships within the Family and throughout the program. The second circle of IMP Resources provides Customized Programs, Individualized Services, and Innovative Infrastructure & Development, to support IMP Families with tools and resources to empower both students and volunteers. Finally, as IMP engages with The Community, the IMP model generates a broad and positive sustainable impact in the Baltimore and global communities.
